Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully accountable for the entire back-of-house operation, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional quality.
  • Collaborate with the operations director and group executive chef to develop and implement the new opening strategy.
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and manage menus, ensuring alignment with the restaurant's concept and brand standards.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, inventory, and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a 5-star EHO rating.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the operations director, group executive chef, and other members of the culinary team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a premium restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine at fine dining level.
  • Fluent Italian language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
