Job Title: Business Development Manager

Murray Myers is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. As a key player in driving business growth, this individual will be responsible for establishing strategic partnerships and expanding the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business and territory portfolio in line with the agreed market development strategy
  • Plan and prioritize sales and customer activities to achieve business growth aims
  • Manage product variation, pricing, and profit margins to ensure sustainable and profitable business growth
  • Update and maintain customer and prospective contacts, internal systems, and respond to sales inquiries
  • Monitor and report on market competitor activities to inform business development decisions
  • Collaborate with sales engineers and production staff to ensure an integrated approach to increasing sales and customer satisfaction
  • Organize local marketing activities within a budget and timescales, including product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions, and telemarketing
  • Communicate and negotiate with customers and internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Strong bias and interest in technical and project management within an engineering environment
  • Experience in a similar industry is desired but not essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
  • A full UK driving license
