Job Title: Employee Benefits Team Leader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Team Leader to join our team at Gallagher. As a key member of our corporate pension and employee benefits team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of Associate Consultants, overseeing their work with Risk & Healthcare corporate consulting clients, and acting as an escalation point for complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Associate Consultants to deliver high-quality service to clients.
  • Oversee the work of the team with Risk & Healthcare corporate consulting clients, ensuring consistent delivery of outstanding client service.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex issues, providing guidance and support to the team.
  • Report progress to the Management Team and strive to exceed client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a small corporate client portfolio, providing high-quality advice and consultancy to clients.
  • Proactively identify and progress new business opportunities, ensuring compliance with engagement procedures and maintaining a diary management system.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A-Level qualifications including English and Maths (degree level preferred).
  • Relevant professional qualifications (Group Risk, Healthcare, Pensions).
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Good technical knowledge of employee benefits consultancy.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant internal systems.
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements in financial services.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in Financial Services.
