The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing customer projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution. Your commercial acumen and estimating skills will be essential in driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects through concept to delivery, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage commercial strategies, including estimating and pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the quality team to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.
- Manage component manufacture through the factory, working with external suppliers as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant technical and quality areas, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Negotiate variations to contracts and ensure accurate invoicing and payment.
Requirements
- Degree-level education in Engineering.
- Experience with composite and GRP materials and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Siemens NX or Solidworks, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
