Project Engineer - Composites

Our client, a family-run business with a strong presence in the composites industry, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their team. With a focus on delivering high-quality composite parts to customers, this role offers a unique opportunity for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Manage customer relationships, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Develop and maintain commercial estimates, ensuring accurate pricing and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Project manage component manufacture, working closely with external suppliers as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical and quality areas, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Negotiate contract variations and ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education in Engineering.
  • Experience with composite and GRP materials and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX or Solidworks, with a strong understanding of design and engineering principles.
