About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Paid Social Media Director to join our fast-paced and innovative digital agency, Tribal Tech - The Digital, Data & AI Specialists. This role will involve working on high-profile clients, leading the development and execution of paid social strategies, and driving exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership & Strategy: Lead the strategic direction and day-to-day management of paid social accounts, ensuring that client objectives are met and exceeded. Develop and present innovative paid social strategies that drive business growth.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of paid social campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and others. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance targets.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of paid social specialists, ensuring continuous development and knowledge sharing. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. Provide clients with regular reports and updates, offering clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Act as the main point of contact, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • New Business Development: Support the agency's growth by participating in pitches and proposals, showcasing our expertise in paid social strategies and capabilities.
  • Cross-Channel Integration: Collaborate with other teams (e.g., SEO, PPC, Creative) to ensure paid social strategies are integrated within broader digital marketing efforts.
  • Budget Management: Manage client budgets effectively, ensuring that all spend is tracked, optimized, and justified in line with client objectives.
  • Staying Ahead of Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest paid social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the agency remains at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in paid social media marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or account director role within an agency setting.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of developing and executing successful paid social campaigns.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of all major social media platforms and their advertising products, including Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Ads, and TikTok for Business.
  • Analytical Skills: Highly analytical with a strong ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Client Management: Exceptional client management skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring teams, with the ability to inspire and drive high performance.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Budget Management: Experience in managing large budgets and delivering campaigns on time and within budget.
