About the Role:

Tribal Tech - The Digital, Data & AI Specialists is seeking a highly skilled Paid Social Director to lead our paid social media campaigns across various platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing paid social strategies, managing a team of paid social specialists, and overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Paid Social Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of paid social media campaigns across various platforms, including Meta, X, TikTok, and more.
  2. Collaborate with Client Servicing Team: Collaborate with the client servicing team to understand agency goals, objectives, and KPIs, and translate them into actionable paid social media plans.
  3. Manage Paid Social Specialists: Manage a team of paid social specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure campaign success and professional growth.
  4. Oversee Campaign Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with client budgets and timelines.
  5. Conduct Audience Research: Conduct thorough audience research and segmentation to target the right demographics and interests for each campaign.
  6. Monitor Campaign Performance: Monitor campaign performance and analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  7. Develop and Deliver Reports: Develop and deliver regular reports to clients, highlighting campaign performance, key metrics, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  8. Stay Informed about Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in paid social media advertising, and share insights with the team and clients.
  9. Collaborate with Creative Team: Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy, visuals, and creative assets that resonate with the target audience.
  10. Foster Strong Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, serving as the main point of contact for all paid social media-related inquiries, updates, and strategic discussions.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in paid social media advertising, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns and delivering measurable results.
  3. Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing a team of paid social specialists.
  4. Deep Understanding of Paid Social Media Platforms: Deep understanding of paid social media platforms, algorithms, targeting options, and best practices.
  5. Proficiency in Social Media Advertising Tools: Proficiency in using social media advertising tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Ads, etc.
  6. Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies to clients and internal teams.
  8. Proactive Mindset: Proactive mindset with a passion for staying updated on the latest trends and innovations in digital marketing and social media.
  9. Exceptional Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
