HR & Payroll Assistant Opportunity

Juice Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading accountancy firm in Bristol to find a skilled HR & Payroll Assistant. This is an exciting chance for a motivated professional to combine payroll and HR administration in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process end-of-month payroll duties, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Payroll Reporting: Prepare and submit payroll reports for review by the Internal Finance Manager.
  • Payroll Compliance: Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll legislation and ensure full compliance.
  • Payroll Audits: Conduct regular payroll audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
HR Administration:
  • Employee Records: Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data protection and confidentiality at all times.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Onboarding: Support new hires with preparation of paperwork and coordination of training sessions.
  • Employee Relations: Provide administrative support in employee relations cases and minute-taking during relevant meetings.
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate training sessions and keep detailed records of employee training activities.
New Business Development:
  • Event Support: Assist the business development team in organizing events and liaising with new client leads when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in HR and payroll functions.
  • Certification: Level 3 CIPD qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Software Skills: Experience with HRIS software (advantageous but not required).
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with an ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Work Ethic: A proactive work ethic and ambition to grow within the company.
