Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The London Clinic. As a key member of our Pharmacy Team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and patient-centered clinical pharmacy service across a range of medical and surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive and effective patient-centered clinical pharmacy service to designated wards, including renal, urology, orthopaedic & spinal surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, plastics and reconstructive surgery.
  • Lead on and develop elements of the clinical pharmacy service to improve the patient experience, ensuring optimal medicines usage by patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute proactively to ensure optimal medicines usage by patients and healthcare professionals, and contribute to ongoing development and service improvements in nursing areas in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Participate in the on-call pharmacist roster for the supply of urgent medicines and provision of medicine-related information, and participate in the weekend and bank holiday pharmacy service according to an agreed roster.
Requirements
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (UK) as a Pharmacist with a postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification.
  • Experience in an acute healthcare environment, with a patient-focused, proactive, and dynamic approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
