Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to provide administrative support within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) as part of the Children & Young People's Division.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational background, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently while managing their workload efficiently and effectively. Proficiency in keyboard skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite are essential for this role.
A professional telephone demeanor is crucial. The successful applicant will be expected to uphold a professional and sensitive approach, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Main Responsibilities
The CAMHS Team Secretary will deliver a flexible and efficient administrative service to the CAMHS Multi-Disciplinary team. Responsibilities will include:
- Typing and document preparation
- Management of electronic and paper diaries
- Scheduling appointments
- Reception duties
Due to the nature of the role, the post-holder must maintain strict confidentiality and interact with patients, caregivers, medical personnel, and other visitors with courtesy and discretion, both in person and in writing. The Admin Manager will be available for guidance as needed.
Language Requirement
The ability to communicate in Welsh is a requirement for this position.
