Operations Director of English

At ENGINEERINGUK, we are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our English-speaking team in delivering exceptional operational excellence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving a culture of safety and wellbeing, analyzing and implementing changes to maintain high-quality and productivity levels, and overseeing projects to streamline processes and improve customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing
  2. Analyze and implement changes to maintain high-quality and productivity levels
  3. Oversee projects to streamline processes and improve customer service
  4. Analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence
  5. Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices
A Day in the Life:

You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, focusing on owning and driving a culture of safety and upholding quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation. Our team is the foundation of our business, and your efforts will help us diversify across new regions and services.

Requirements:
  1. A degree
  2. Relevant experience in people management
  3. Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
  4. Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
  5. Written and spoken English language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
  2. AR experience recommended
  3. Experience working in another logistics environment
  4. Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
