About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Care Manager to join our team at Home Instead, where you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding quality care to our clients. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our care service, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Converting new client enquiries into care plans that meet their individual needs
  • Care planning and conducting risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Managing a team to deliver exceptional service to our clients and workloads are managed accordingly

Requirements

  • Extensive care experience with excellent customer service and man management skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to influence
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work well and accurately under pressure
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the business, including participating in an on-call rota

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in a management role in health and social care is essential
  • Strong knowledge of relevant NI legislation and regulations governing the provision of care services, including RQIA regulations and NISCC
  • Good working knowledge of IT Systems, with experience of Microsoft Office and ability to work with large databases and virtual communication platforms
  • Possess the appropriate combination of qualification, registration and experience as set in the Domiciliary Care standards
