About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Goldhawk Associates. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial records of our clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a variety of clients, including processing invoices, receipts, payments, and reconciling accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
  • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure accurate and timely financial information, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper within an accountancy practice, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Qualified or qualified by experience, with proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
