Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Support Officer to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support with various accounting and financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Assist in the development and preparation of budgets and medium-term financial plans.
  • Account Reconciliation: Support with monthly reconciliations, pension, and payroll information.
  • Pension Administration: Provide support with pension-related tasks, including keeping insurance details updated and managing claims.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in closing accounts, preparing documents for audit, and handling year-end financial tasks.
  • Financial Data Management: Help prepare financial information for the company website and complete required returns and statistics.
  • Target Achievement: Work towards agreed targets and provide support and advice on VAT, tax-related issues.
  • Invoice Processing: Input invoices and match POs using accounting software.
  • Other Finance Duties: Perform other finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • DBS Check: This role requires a DBS check.
  • Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is £13.71 per hour.
