Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our team in the construction of a £35 million high bay industrial unit. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing industrial unit projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on health and safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the necessary labour, plant, staff, and equipment to achieve project completion on time, to specification, and within budget.
  • Monitor that the Engineering Team orders the correct materials and sub-contract services in good time to meet contract objectives.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the site team, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement effective site management systems to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements:
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work qualifications.
  • Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong team leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent customer focus and customer service skills.
