Job Title: Night Site Manager

About the Role:

M Group Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Site Manager to join our team. As a Night Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee the management of site operatives, subcontractors, and site work to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Safety Management: Develop and implement safety documentation, including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments, to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients to ensure that their needs are met and that all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
  • Procurement: Procure materials and services as required, using computer-based systems to manage inventory and track orders.
  • Reporting: Compile and submit reports to management on site progress, including any variations or issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: HNC / Degree Level in Construction, Civil Engineering, or an Electrical discipline or equivalent.
  • Certifications: CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme, Temporary Works Supervisor.
  • Experience: A background in construction and the electricity industry, with experience in substation construction and management.
  • Skills: Competency to work in substations up to 132kV, knowledge of NEC contracts, current legislation relating to Health, Safety, and Environment, cost/value reporting, and IT literacy.
