Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join one of our esteemed SEND schools.

In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within an inclusive educational setting. Your primary focus will be to assist teachers in creating a positive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND, assisting them with classroom activities and assignments.
  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student learning and development.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.

Qualifications and Experience:

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of SEND practices and procedures.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with SEND and helping them reach their full potential.
