About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Sound Care Group Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our 57-bed rest home and hospital in Cambridge East.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure maximum resident occupancy and consistently drive quality improvement.
  • Oversee a team of clinical, administrative, housekeeping, and maintenance staff to ensure the highest standards of care and service.
  • Maintain relationships with Ministry of Health (MOH) and other allied agencies and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with MOH contracts and certification requirements.
  • Lead and support the team to deliver a level of care consistent with the Group's CARE Values of Competence, Authenticity, Respect, and Empathy.
Requirements
  • Three or more years' experience in the aged or YPD care environment, including at least one year in a team lead or management role.
  • A qualification related to aged care, health, and disability, or equivalent.
  • A current first aid certificate.
  • Medical or clinical background (advantageous but not required).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Good physical fitness and the commitment to maintain this.
  • The right to live and work in NZ.
