About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Corporate Insurance Director to join our team at Aston Charles Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and retaining a portfolio of corporate clients generating up to circa £1M income.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate insurance broking, with a deep understanding of commercial lines and a proven track record of success in managing complex client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring their insurance programs reflect their appetite for risk and providing solutions to mitigate exposures.
  • Work closely with the Branch MD to influence the future direction of the branch and contribute to insurer relations.
  • Provide support and guidance to less-experienced colleagues, including Corporate Account Executives, to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop an understanding of our full suite of products and put clients in touch with colleagues from specialist teams to maximize revenue.

Requirements:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build rapport with clients who have a sophisticated approach to managing risk.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex insurance concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial insurance markets.
