Position Overview

Job Title: Temporary Corporate Counsel (2-4 Years PQE and 4-7 Years PQE)

Compensation: £55,000 - £90,000 FTE (Based on Experience)

Career Legal, a prominent legal recruitment firm, is in search of skilled Corporate Counsel on a temporary basis to enhance their vibrant team. We are interested in candidates with diverse experience levels—both mid-level (2-4 years PQE) and senior (4-7 years PQE)—to manage a variety of stimulating projects and legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

For Mid-Level Corporate Counsel (2-4 Years PQE):

  • Oversee routine legal work, smaller initiatives, and customized agreements.
  • Assist senior colleagues on projects and intricate commercial contract issues.
  • Draft and manage various commercial agreements, ensuring adherence to regulations and risk mitigation.
  • Deliver clear and precise legal guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and delivery.

For Senior Corporate Counsel (4-7 Years PQE):

  • Lead and oversee technology-related legal tasks from Advanced Delivery Teams (ADTs) and other Professional Service teams.
  • Independently manage tech and AI-related legal matters, showcasing strong analytical skills and legal expertise.
  • Provide specialized advice on complex technology and intellectual property issues, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement technology-driven products and solutions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial agreements related to technology and intellectual property.
