Job Summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR guidance and support to local management teams to drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent, including recruitment, talent management, and employee relations.
  • Manage and coordinate HR business processes, including HR systems, performance management, and employee communications.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, management, and union representatives.
  • Conduct investigations, manage grievances, and provide support for disciplinary actions.
  • Manage and analyze employee engagement surveys, staff forums, and other metrics to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Support the HR Manager in the preparation of annual pay negotiations and other HR-related projects.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant area or equivalent CIPD qualification.
  • 5-7 years' experience in a multi-disciplinary HR environment, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Chartered membership of CIPD.
  • Systems literacy and leadership, project management, change management, emotional intelligence, communications, and negotiations skills.
  • Knowledge of Employee Relations and legislation.
  • Experience working closely with Union's.
