The Senior Business Analyst will play an integral role within the organization, focusing on critical functions such as project oversight, data interpretation, analytical reporting, and the creation of impactful presentations.
As the landscape of Financial Lines and Cyber risks evolves, this position is essential for driving excellence in underwriting and crafting customized strategies to meet emerging challenges.
Key collaborations will involve various internal teams, including Underwriting Business Units, Pricing Actuaries, Risk Management, and Claims, fostering a unified approach to complex risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Implementation:
- Execute the strategy for Global Financial Lines and Cyber Products, ensuring adherence to established controls.
Performance Enhancement:
- Utilize data analytics to support Financial Lines and Cyber initiatives, improving decision-making and overall portfolio performance.
- Develop comprehensive business presentations and analytical reports.
- Track portfolio aggregation, analyze claims trends, and identify emerging risks.
Governance Support:
- Document challenges and assist in governance processes.
- Advocate for data integrity in collaboration with Operations.
Best Practices Sharing:
- Leverage collaboration tools to disseminate best practices across teams.
AXA XL Common Objectives:
- Contribute to strategic projects as required.
Ad Hoc Support:
- Provide additional support as necessary.
This position reports directly to the Global Head of Underwriting Management for Financial Lines and Cyber.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in (re)insurance and operational functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Insurance, complemented by relevant industry experience.
- Expertise in data analysis tools and software.
- Strong ability to analyze data and recognize trends.
- Exceptional collaboration and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
