About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst to join our team at Made Tech. As a key member of our business analysis team, you will play a critical role in enabling public sector organisations to design and deliver high-quality services that improve society.

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver business analysis services to our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop effective business processes, and specify IT system capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes
  • Selecting and adopting appropriate business analysis methods, tools, and techniques
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop business cases and feasibility studies
  • Preparing business cases that define potential benefits and associated business risks
  • Collaborating with the wider Made Tech team and our clients to deliver high-quality work aligned with our customers' vision and needs

Requirements include:

  • Agile working and experience in coaching and leading teams in Agile and Lean practices
  • Business modelling and experience in setting the direction of scope and methodology for representing complex situations
  • Business process improvement and experience in identifying opportunities to perform activities in alternative ways
  • Business process testing and experience in directing the application of business analysis skills to support design, execution, and assessment of business process tests and usability evaluations
  • Consultancy (business analysis) and experience in providing advice, guidance, and recommendations
  • Enterprise and business architecture (business analyst) and experience in translating business drivers into objectives
  • Requirements definition and management and experience in directing approach to requirements management
  • Stakeholder relationship management (business analysis) and experience in developing engagement strategies
  • Systems analysis and experience in setting direction for identification and analysis of IT system capabilities
  • Testing (business analysis) and experience in recommending value of testing
