Exciting Opportunity for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor

A leading specialist in facades and external envelope contracting is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join their team as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor.

Our client is a market-leading contractor in the facades industry, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality building envelopes, including cladding, curtain walls, glazing, and other external facade systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Support: Assist with tender evaluations, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and manage the procurement process.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit interim valuations, manage variations, and final accounts.
  • Contract Administration: Support the administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Site Visits: Participate in site visits to understand project progress and assist with measuring quantities on-site.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate project records and assist in preparing reports for the senior quantity surveying team.
Requirements:
  • Recently graduated or studying towards a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop in the field of Quantity Surveying.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Interest in facade systems (cladding, glazing, curtain walling, etc.) and construction methods is a plus.
