Commercial Quantity Surveyor - South West

RGB Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Principal Civil Engineering contractor in the South West of England.

About the Role

As a Commercial Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial team and delivering projects across various sectors, including Highways, Industrial, and Commercial. Your expertise in quantity surveying, including change and claims management, cost control, and value management, will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial team and ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Develop strong relationships with internal departments, clients, and subcontractors
  • Prepare and present monthly commercial performance reports to board members
  • Ensure compliance with ECC Project Manager Accreditation
  • Manage change and claims, and control costs and values
  • Prepare commercial reports, including CVR's, CFS, KPI's, performance, and WIP
