Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the Parts and Aftersales strategy to establish a key revenue stream for the business. Leveraging your experience and expertise in Parts and Aftersales within a similar industry, you will aim to maximise efficiency, develop annual business plans, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Financial Management
    • Develop annual goals and budgets for the Parts Department, aligning them with the organisation's financial and operational objectives. Implement effective forecasting to support these goals.
    • Manage departmental expenses to maximise profitability, regularly review spending to ensure efficient use of resources, and maintain monthly budgets.
    • Establish competitive pricing across various categories, ensuring sufficient profit margins.
  • Sales and Marketing
    • Create and manage a comprehensive sales system to drive customer satisfaction and achieve both short-term and long-term sales and profit objectives. Maintain and expand sales to ensure departmental profitability.
    • Develop and execute a marketing plan, including promotions and actions, to meet sales goals. Seek and provide market and competitor information to support new business development.
    • Actively solicit and manage parts sales through the dealer network, and direct customer contact. Follow up and resolve all customer requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Operations and Process Optimization
    • Establish and maintain effective processes in the Parts Department to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction. Optimise sales channels and improve efficiency and service levels.
    • Systematise parts inventory and supply across dealerships, regions, and the factory, ensuring effective management and control.
    • Oversee purchasing and ordering procedures to maintain profitability and efficiency.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Develop, train, and support the parts and sales team, providing guidance and setting standards for performance. Offer motivation and support, as necessary. Plan, monitor, and appraise job performance.
    • Foster good working relationships with other subsidiaries and departments to reduce conflicts and maximise profitability.
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Maintain clear lines of communication with LQHQ to access current information and support dealership operations.
    • Keep superiors informed about the progress of ongoing activities and any issues that arise, ensuring diligent and timely execution of work.
