Wealth Management Solicitor

In-house Opportunity

Location: London

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000

A Wealth Management Solicitor is sought to join an in-house legal team in London. This is a pivotal moment for the organization as it transitions its legal functions back in-house, fostering established partnerships with investment firms and charitable organizations, while managing its own portfolio of work. You will be a key contributor in refining processes and collaborating within a forward-thinking team to support the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities of the Wealth Management Solicitor include:

  • Managing estate planning initiatives for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.
  • Drafting intricate wills, providing counsel on trusts, and navigating inheritance tax issues.
  • Assisting with succession planning and estate management for multifaceted estates.
  • Handling probate cases in conjunction with a colleague, serving as a primary liaison for clients as necessary.
  • Engaging in cross-departmental collaboration to enhance workflows, exchange insights, and achieve optimal client outcomes.

Qualifications for the Wealth Management Solicitor:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of estate planning and administration, including taxation, trusts, and probate.
  • Experience working with HNW and UHNW clients, particularly in relation to complex trusts and international estates.
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent professional designation.
