Director of Business Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Strategic Partnerships. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving our business forward and building strong relationships with our partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic partnerships with key vendors and distributors to drive business growth and revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales teams, account managers, and internal management teams.
- Work closely with the Business Development Director to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
- Identify opportunities with vendors and distributors to develop sales strategy and maximize customer opportunity.
- Engage with internal and external resources to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
- Work with the CTO office to ensure alignment with technology strategy.
- Manage rebate programs for distribution and vendors, excluding Cisco.
- Proven track record of building relationships across an organization.
- Broad understanding of key industry technology trends, customer needs, and solutions.
- Experience in building solution and vendor-based go-to-markets.
- Strong understanding of vendor programs and incentive schemes.
- A history of achieving and overachieving targets.
- Ability to build effective and constructive relationships at multiple levels within technology vendors and distribution partners.
- Experience assisting in negotiations to achieve successful outcomes for large-value transactions.
- Proven ability to control costs in line with project and budgetary expectations.
- Highly developed networking, relationship, and interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation skills with the ability to persuade and influence.
- Understanding of technologies that will disrupt the market in future years.
- Ability to set a vision and drive teams to achieve goals in a considered and effective way.
- Experience of managing budgets and improving bottom line margin.
- Experience of global supply chain management, cross-border logistics, and operations.
