About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Production Operative to join our client's evening PM shift in a prestigious manufacturing environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for manually loading spring sheets and unloading finished roll rom roll packing machines, palletising finished goods, laminating spring sheets, and completing spring requisitions in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manually load spring sheets and unload finished roll rom roll packing machines
- Palletise finished goods
- Laminate spring sheets
- Complete spring requisitions in a timely manner
- Use HMI screen to correctly input data
- Correctly label rolls
- Keep area clean and tidy
- Load containers/vehicles with finished goods
- Work to company quality standards
- Work to company 5's standards
- Report any breakdowns/quality issues to shift leader/engineering department
- Transfer finished goods via FLT (FLT trained desirable)
Requirements:
- Experience as a Production Operative/Process Operative
- Experience using a range of hand tools/production/manufacturing equipment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent time keeping and attendance record
- Strict adherence to H&S procedures
