Job Title: Family Group Conference Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Family Group Conference Coordinator to join our team in Lambeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Family Group Conferences, working with families to find solutions to care for their children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and facilitate Family Group Conferences to bring family members and friends together to discuss solutions for caring for their children.
  • Assist families in coming to their own decisions about how to care for their children.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with families, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the Family Group Conference Lead and Service Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of the service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain accreditation and improve practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with families and children in a social care setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • FGC accreditation is necessary for this post.
