Role Purpose...

As a Product Lead, you will be tasked with the development, enhancement, and execution of security offerings, aimed at bolstering the expansion of the global portfolio and facilitating our sales channels to meet Vodafone Security's strategic objectives.

You will possess extensive knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, market trends, and particularly customer purchasing behaviors.

As a key member of the team, you will take specific ownership of a product or service domain, contributing to the broader security portfolio that provides comprehensive managed and professional security services to assist businesses in evaluating, detecting, responding to, and recovering from cyber threats, including:

  • Cyber assessment services that initiate the customer journey
  • Employee awareness programs, cyber resilience, and vulnerability diagnostics
  • Managed security services encompassing monitoring, incident management, and response, designed for ease of use, deployment, and scalability, simplifying every phase
  • Professional services centered on risk assessment, testing, and employee awareness regarding phishing threats
  • Collaborative investment in an innovation lab dedicated to security solutions and intelligence for workplace, cloud, IoT, and SD-WAN environments
  • A streamlined and seamless experience encompassing onboarding, delivery, and service management, minimizing the time required to deploy and safeguard a business
  • A primary focus of the role is to engage with local markets and facilitate portfolio integration and planning, including financial planning and prioritization. As a product owner, you will spearhead the simplification and integration of offerings and products into local markets to accelerate time to market
  • Experience in the Information/Cyber Security sector with a general understanding of customer solutions
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess the value of investments and commercial returns for Vodafone and our clients
  • Capability to convey complex information and concepts in clear, compelling ways
  • Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and influence teams within a matrix organization, both direct and virtual, as well as suppliers, to achieve required outcomes
  • Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, from C-level executives and sales teams to analyst communities and technically proficient teams
  • Experience in roles that demand clear thinking under tight deadlines
  • Proven track record in matrix organizations, delivering measurable results

  • Product Strategy: Formulate a distinctive and disruptive product strategy, lead strategic planning with a market and segment focus. Own budget and resource allocation
  • Business Plan and Model: Design and align the operational model, principles, and execution of the plan with target markets/segments. Identify and implement strategies to enhance performance


 Customer Success
  • Revenue: Drive go-to-market alignment, gather customer feedback, develop customer case studies, and stimulate revenue growth
  • Internal & External Communications: Serve as a thought leader internally and externally for security and your product area. Ensure that the stakeholder map and communication plan are current and effectively executed

  • Experience in a comparable role within the telecommunications or IT sector is desirable
  • Understanding of security product and portfolio management, along with security expertise
  • Excellent communication skills with a clear and precise written and verbal style. Facilitation skills are a plus
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, in a position of influence. Build strong relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • External thought leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently. Act as an accessible reference point for knowledge and expertise
  • A problem solver, capable of identifying root causes and making decisions for implementation


 Security Certification
  • CISSP, CISM
  • Proven experience in successfully managing complex projects and programs to meet business expectations and deliver results
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, coupled with personal tenacity and the ability to drive projects to completion in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills
