We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Robertson Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing commercial control and leadership on our developments throughout the North East England.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the appraisal and land bid process to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
- Produce cash flow forecasts and interim and final budgets to support business growth and profitability.
- Mentor and develop junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Manage procurement of trade packages and oversee subcontract ordering to ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Produce and approve subcontract/partner payments, including monthly on-site measurement/assessment of progress.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to establish project delivery strategies and implement effective solutions.
- Regularly report to the Head of Commercial on all commercial aspects of the business.
- Assist the team in resolving key issues and disputes to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Attend and contribute to various meetings, including pre-order meetings, valuation meetings, and project review meetings.
- Implement group policy and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the business.
- Provide commercial risk profiles and monitoring of developments to inform business decisions.
- Contribute to continual business improvement initiatives to drive growth and success.
