About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team at Athelstan House. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will provide a warm and welcoming reception service, ensuring that all our visitors follow infection control rules and coordinate testing requirements.

You will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including managing reports, handling cash, and coordinating events. You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home, and provide support with reception, administrative, and basic finance activities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our residents and their families. You will be part of a dedicated team that is passionate about providing a safe and supportive environment.

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in an administrative or reception role, who is confident using Microsoft Office and has experience of handling cash and keeping reports up to date. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to relate to our residents in a caring and sensitive manner.

This is a busy and varied role, and you will need to be efficient and organised, with the ability to use your initiative to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
