Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our R&D team. As a Software Development Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled software developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of software developers, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Manage the development of scalable firmware and software using a structured, process-driven approach.
  • Plan and coordinate the Software Team's workload, communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Maintain best practices within the Software Team, ensuring technical journals and company QMS processes are followed.
  • Lead the Sprint process for the Software Team, ensuring successful delivery of product firmware and software.
  • Assist with project planning, scoping, and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial software environment.
  • Experience with audio software, JUCE-based applications, or embedded firmware is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum/Sprint planning principles.
  • Strong People Management skills with proven experience as a formal Line Manager.
  • Experience with project ownership and coordination, from conception to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships with people at all levels.
