As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the software development process and ensuring the successful development of scalable firmware and software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Organize and plan the workload for the software team, and provide line management duties to ensure efficiency and commitment to the team's goals.
  • Leadership and Administration: Demonstrate leadership and administration of the sprint process, ensuring that all team members are working towards the same objectives.
  • Research and Development: Ensure that essential research, company QMS, and technical journals are maintained, and that the team is up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
  • Project Planning: Plan and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and solve complex technical problems, and provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Minimum of 5+ years of experience using modern C++/JUCE, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading teams, with a strong track record of delivering results and improving team performance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain close relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and practices, with the ability to make informed decisions that drive business growth and success.
