We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Improvement Engineer to join our Exton, PA office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading process engineering activities, working closely with clients to define project requirements, and delivering solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead process engineering activities, including conceptual design, detailed design, and commissioning, for projects in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and specialty chemical industries.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain standard engineering documents, including user requirement specifications, process and basis of design narratives, utility and process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
  • Participate in HAZOP analysis and develop startup and commissioning documentation.
  • Verify the correct implementation of systems as designed and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Support project managers with start-up and commissioning efforts during the startup and commissioning phase.
  • Execute projects of varying size, with a focus on projects of larger scope and/or higher technical complexity.
  • Ensure the quality of design documents and complete quality management training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in our core industries.
  • Familiarity with cGMP and regulatory guidelines, including equipment qualification and validation.
  • Experience with utility, clean utility, and clean process equipment specification, installation, startup, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Results-oriented, with good organization skills, attention to detail, and the capability of efficiently working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer knowledge: MS Office and MS Project. Experience with AutoCAD, HYSIS, AFT, or similar process simulation software packages is desirable.
