Job Description

**About the Role**

Business for Nature is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Interim Director of Environmental Advocacy. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong understanding of environmental policy and advocacy.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and manage the Advocacy team to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Develop and implement the advocacy strategy to meet the organization's objectives.
  • Provide strategic and technical support to the team members.
  • Support the CEO in engaging with governments and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the organization's strategy, vision, and decision-making process.

**Requirements**

  • A degree in environmental management, policy, or a related field.
  • Experience in leadership and people management.
  • Excellent track record in program and project management.
  • Experience in advocacy/policy and engaging directly with policymakers.
  • Ideal experience in working with businesses and environmental organizations.
  • Technical expertise on environmental policy and advocacy.
  • Excellent English written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
