About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Nurse or Clinical Research Practitioner to join our team at Imperial College London. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge clinical research in opioid addiction, working closely with our team to facilitate the trial (FORWARDS-2) and contribute to the development of innovative treatments for this complex condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and participant-facing activities, including planning, coordinating, and conducting participant visits and trial-related procedures in line with the research protocol and Good Clinical Practice.
  • Key point-of-contact for client and staff queries at our partner recruitment sites.
  • Building effective relationships with local Principal Investigators and their teams, working collaboratively to achieve trial objectives.
  • Contributing to the development of trial procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Registered nurse with experience in a relevant area, or a Clinical Research Practitioner with equivalent training.
  • Previous research experience, ideally with CTIMPs, or a strong interest in developing a career in research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage own work, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
