Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a Senior Policy Advisor for a significant role within the public sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR POLICY ADVISOR

  • Providing expert guidance on legal policy issues related to specific cases and processes.
  • Contributing to the formulation and execution of policies, ensuring alignment with client requirements and effective communication across relevant departments.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with policy teams across various government departments.
  • Conducting thorough analysis of complex information and preparing concise recommendations for senior management and legal teams.
  • Engaging with the policy team and senior leadership to ensure awareness of critical issues and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Leading discussions on litigation matters and coordinating with other teams on related topics.
  • Collaborating with cross-government representatives on legal matters pertaining to specific cases.
  • Supervising Policy Support Officers as necessary.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE SENIOR POLICY ADVISOR

  • Proven experience in a policy role within central government, particularly in addressing complex and sensitive issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft policy documents and submissions effectively.
  • Capacity to produce high-quality work efficiently.
