The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Ensuring all security personnel are operating within the scope of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Team Management: Leading and managing a team of security professionals, including Dog Handlers, Security Guards, Duty Supervisors, and Schedulers.
  • Escalation Management: Acting as the first point of contact for escalated incidents on weekends.
  • Process Improvement: Implementing effective controls and monitoring processes to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Communication: Effective communication with all stakeholders, including peer groups and management levels.
  • Investigations: Participating in site investigations and reporting findings.
  • Security Solutions: Providing tailored security solutions for clients, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Business Growth: Identifying opportunities for business growth, including upselling to existing clients and new B2B sales.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintaining accurate records of security incidents, interventions, and outcomes for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Staying informed about current security trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to event security.
  • Training and Development: Providing guidance and training to staff on security procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinating and communicating between support departments, including Accounts, Compliance, HR, and Training.

Salary: Up to £36,000 pro rata for the best candidate. Additional payment will be made for out-of-hours escalation duties.

Working Pattern: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - 40 contracted hours, inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break. Start and finish times will reflect the needs of the role, with a primary focus on Saturday and Sunday.
