Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who provides daily support and guidance to the engineering team in their designated area. Responsibilities include planning and overseeing maintenance tasks while collaborating with the Scheduler to ensure efficient and profitable use of engineering resources.

  • Ensure that performance and service levels meet compliance and monthly schedules.
  • Address customer needs, complaints, and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct toolbox talks with team members, maintaining clear records for the compliance team.
  • Be available for site assessments and installation handovers as directed by the Regional Service Manager.
  • Organize and maintain an effective call-out rota for the area, noting that being on the call-out rota is not required.
  • Oversee minor works delivery within the area through dedicated resources.
  • Assist the Regional Service Manager in managing the engineering team.
  • Act as a deputy for the Regional Service Manager during periods of absence.
  • Support engineers with stock control and action management.
  • Attend to challenging sites and customer complaints.
  • Provide technical support to the DRS and Sales Team with quotations.
  • Initial planning of preventative maintenance on large or complex sites, engaging with customers to support key sites in the region.
  • Assist in the delivery of small bespoke projects, ensuring timely completion.

Desired Qualifications

At Marlowe Fire & Security Group, we seek individuals who can demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers daily.

  • A minimum of five years' experience as a proficient multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer.
  • Previous supervisory experience in an engineering role.
  • A technical background in the electrical or electronic industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in front-line customer service is preferred.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
