Talent Torch is seeking a highly skilled Associate Director of Environmental Impact Assessment to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), encompassing all stages of the EIA process. This includes EIA management and coordination, screening, scoping, and the preparation of Environmental Statements. The role requires a deep understanding of the UK's planning system and related legislation, as well as experience with post-submission and determination within the Development Consent Order (DCO) and Town and Country Planning Act (TCPA) processes. The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or master's in environmental science or equivalent, recent consultancy experience in a similar Associate/Associate Director role, and expertise in energy, infrastructure, and EIA planning. Additionally, they will have strong client management and presentation skills at senior levels, excellent project management and report writing skills, and a deep understanding of planning legislation across England and Wales.
