Environmental Impact Assessment Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director of Environmental Impact Assessment to join our team at GreenJobs Ltd. As a key member of our environmental consultancy business, you will be responsible for leading EIA projects and ensuring compliance with UK planning legislation.
The RoleAs an Associate Director of EIA, you will have extensive expertise in all stages of the EIA process, including EIA management and coordination, screening, scoping, and the preparation of Environmental Statements. You will work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality EIA projects, particularly for nationally significant infrastructure initiatives like large-scale solar projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead EIA projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with UK planning legislation.
- Develop and implement EIA strategies, including screening, scoping, and Environmental Statement preparation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored EIA solutions.
- Manage and coordinate EIA teams, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with UK planning legislation and regulatory changes, ensuring our clients receive expert advice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree or master's in environmental science or a related field.
- Extensive expertise in EIA, including EIA management and coordination, screening, scoping, and Environmental Statement preparation.
- Strong client management and presentation skills at senior levels.
- Excellent project management and report writing skills.
- Deep understanding of UK planning legislation and regulatory changes.
