Lead Marine Environmental Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Director to lead our team in delivering high-profile marine environmental projects. As Associate Director, you will be responsible for managing the preparation of environmental reports and technical reviews of specialist chapters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation of EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments, and supporting documents.
  • Lead collaborative teams, coordinating inputs from technical specialists.
  • Provide bespoke advice to clients to help them successfully deliver their goals.
  • Project management skills, including programming, staff resource, and budget management.
  • Ensure quality deliverables are produced to the highest standards and compliance with our quality management procedures.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of marine projects, including offshore wind, interconnectors, subsea cables, ports, and harbors. You will be part of our established Environmental Impact (EIA) team, comprising over 165 staff across the UK and Ireland.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Masters degree) and ideally an appropriate professional membership.
  • Comprehensive EIA consultancy experience, with proven skills in managing the preparation of environmental reports and technical reviews of specialist chapters.
  • A detailed understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes around the UK and Ireland.
  • Strong project management skills, including programming, staff resource, and budget management.
  • A commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.
