Marine Director of Environmental Impact

Are you passionate about positively influencing the environmental performance of marine development projects? We're seeking a highly skilled Marine Director of Environmental Impact to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Impact (EIA) team, you will lead and input to our growing portfolio of high-profile marine projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expertise: Lead, manage and co-ordinate multidisciplinary environmental inputs across a diverse range of marine projects.
  • Ensure Quality: Ensure that our deliverables are produced to the highest quality standards and compliance with our rigorous quality management procedures.
  • Project Management: Make effective use of your project management skills, appropriately managing resources and budgets.
  • Collaborate: Work as part of an integrated team to improve the environmental outcomes of our projects.
  • Client Contact: Manage client relationships, internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Growth: Promote AECOM's environmental services to both internal and external audiences.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant environmental discipline and ideally an appropriate professional membership.
  • Comprehensive EIA consultancy experience, with proven skills in managing the preparation of environmental reports and the technical review of specialist chapters.
  • A detailed understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes around the UK and Ireland.
  • The ability to lead collaborative teams, coordinating inputs from technical specialists.
  • Project management skills, including programming, staff resource and budget management.
  • A commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.
