Role Overview:

We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer to join our exceptional team on a freelance basis. In this role, you will be tasked with designing, enhancing, and maintaining Shopify stores that provide captivating user experiences and foster e-commerce success for our clients. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from any location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and customize Shopify themes to create distinctive, visually engaging, and user-friendly e-commerce websites.
  • Integrate and configure Shopify applications to enhance the functionality of clients' stores.
  • Optimize website performance, ensuring rapid load times and a smooth user experience.
  • Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to transform creative ideas into functional websites.
  • Adhere to conversion rate optimization roadmaps and implement tracking for experiments.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Shopify stores, including bugs, performance challenges, and third-party integrations.
  • Stay informed about the latest Shopify trends, features, and best practices to keep clients' stores competitive.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients, ensuring they can efficiently manage their Shopify stores.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Shopify Developer with a robust portfolio of Shopify projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
  • Experience with Shopify's APIs and integrating third-party applications.
  • Strong grasp of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and conversion rate optimization principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with remote teams and clients.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is advantageous.
  • Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce) is beneficial but not mandatory.
