About the Role:

Mace is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and scheduling of complex infrastructure projects, including civil engineering and construction projects.
  • Develop and implement planning principles and methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Provide expert advice on project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and risk registers.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in planning and scheduling large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in a tier 1 contractor or client-side consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with schedule risk analysis (QSRA) and project controls methodologies.
