About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Thorn Baker FM. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of cleaners and ensuring the delivery of high-quality cleaning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and effective management of a team of cleaners, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to deliver excellent service.
  • Service Delivery: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service level agreements are met, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial tracking to ensure services are delivered within agreed budgets and service levels.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all colleagues are trained in, and adhere to, relevant Health, Safety, and COSHH policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior supervisory or management role within the soft services industry, ideally within education or multi-site cleaning.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise and work professionally with clients and staff.
  • Qualifications: Full UK driving license and Enhanced DBS with barring.
