We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist at our Orpington location. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our guests, and upholding the high standards of Mytime Active.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring the highest level of customer enjoyment and satisfaction.
- Lost Property System: Record and administer the lost property system, ensuring that all items are properly logged and returned to their owners.
- Reception Area: Ensure that all information displayed in the reception area is up-to-date and regularly restocked, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Communication: Keep up-to-date with Company and local management communications, including notice boards, handover files, pigeon holes, and e-news.
- Cash Handling: Operate a cash register accurately, ensuring Mytime Active's cash handling and financial procedures are adhered to.
- Upselling: Welcome golfers to the site, upsell memberships and benefits of joining Mytime Active GC's, and promote golf retail at every opportunity.
- Site Operations: Open and close the site on a rota basis, accept deliveries, and store items securely.
- Safety and Cleaning: Undertake safety inspections and cleaning inspections as required, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Events and Functions: Supervise the front of house at functions, events, and societies, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
- Reporting: Report any defective services, equipment, and facilities to the manager, ensuring prompt resolution and maintenance.
- Energy Conservation: Help to conserve energy and minimize wastage, adhering to Mytime Active's sustainability policies.
- Uniform and Appearance: Wear correct clean uniform with name badge, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
- Health and Safety: Follow all Health & Safety guidelines that are in place, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and guests.
- Training and Development: Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required, staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Passion for Golf: Ideally, we would prefer that you have a passion for golf and play regularly, but full training can be provided.
- Customer Focus: You must be able to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
- Teamwork: You will be working as part of a team, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Flexibility: You must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
