About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as our AMHP Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of our AMHP service and lead a highly motivated and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional practice oversight to support and develop outstanding statutory AMHP practice.
- Work closely with the service manager to provide leadership and support to the development and delivery of our wider mental health offer.
- Represent Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council at various networks locally and nationally.
- Collaborate with AMHPs and other professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification for the job role at Level 6 or above and a management qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in the role.
- Maintained membership of a regulated body where this is a requirement to practice in the role.
- Professional standards practiced to the highest expected level.
